Innovation in scientific instrument technology is a crucial driving force behind advances in experimental scientific research and theoretical progress. Laboratory of Precision Instruments and Equipment is dedicated to developing new equipment and experimental methods for the research frontiers of material science and life science. Currently, we focus on microscale characterization equipment and physical property measurement, new instruments that enable us to see the world more clearly and distinctly.
The team focuses on designing novel characterization tools capable of simultaneously detecting atomic order, charge order, and spin order within materials. These innovations aim to support frontier research on quantum systems, such as high-temperature superconductivity mechanisms, quantum transport, new topological states, in-situ quantum control under external fields, material phase changes, and physical property evolution under extreme conditions at the atomic scale.
