Campus Location

The university campus is located in Xihu District, Hangzhou, covering approximately 35 hectares (about 86 acres), with a total gross floor area of approximately 400,000 square meters. The campus was designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop, an internationally renowned architectural practice.

Nestled beside Longwu Tea Garden in the heart of the West Lake Longjing tea-growing region, Tsientang Institute for Advanced Study enjoys a serene setting surrounded by emerald tea hills. Situated within a cultural triangle formed by the China Academy of Art and the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, the Institute sits amidst Song Dynasty Town, Xishan National Forest Park, Bamboo-Lined Path at Yunqi, and Xixi National Wetland Park.
